Cathryn Saunders and Dave Catterson both completed the Stratford upon Avon Triathlon on Sunday 9th May 2010.

It was a first attempt at a triathlon for both of them!

The two QSs were pleased with their times and are looking forward to additional events in the future.
 
AIRSIDE AT SOUTHAMPTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Following the successful completion of the Landside Works in December 2009, ETP are now working again with Harrison Design Company on the airside works.

The scope includes the construction of a new Costa Coffee unit, together with a Mitchells Bar.

ARDEN HOTEL, STRATFORD UPON AVON

Works are proceeding apace on this prestige hotel refurbishment project, positioned adjacent to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Previously the Thistle Hotel, the refurbishment is being carried out by Nicholas Hollinshead Interiors and will provide a boutique style hotel with individually designed rooms and restaurant, bars, etc.

ETP are delighted to be working in conjunction with BWB Consulting on the Outline Sketch Scheme Stage for the refurbishment of Queen's Pier in Ramsey, Isle of Man.

ETP will be providing cost and procurement advice on this prestigious project which looks to protect and refurbish a significant example of Victorian pier construction for the use of future generations.

Another year, another Half Marathon!

Cathryn Saunders and David Catterson both completed the course on Sunday 11th October. David managed to improve his time significantly when compared to last year and completed the course in 1 hour 25 mins and 20 secs.

Cathryn's time was about the same as last year and she's vowed to improve next year!

Congratulations to both of them.

David Catterson, Assistant Quantity Surveyor at ETP, recently completed the Berlin Marathon in a time of 3 hours, 43 minutes. This time was half an hour quicker than David's previous marathon! David and Managing Quantity Surveyor Cathryn Saunders are both running in the Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October 2009. Good luck to them both!

ETP have been appointed by Rooftop Housing Group Ltd. to act as CDM Co-ordinators on their housing refurbishment project in Shawcross Walk, Evesham.

Works will commence on site in October 2009.

ETP have been appointed by ARAMARK Ltd. to act as Quantity Surveyors and CDM Co-ordinators, with Harrison Design Company, on the refurbishment of their coffee shop and brasserie outlets at Southampton International Airport.

Works are due to commence on site in early October.

The completed Scholars' Walk development was officially opened by the Mayor of Wolverhampton on 3rd June 2009.

ETP acted as Quantity Surveyors on this high quality residential conversion project for Start Estates Limited which was part funded by the Townscape Heritage Initiative.

The completed apartments demonstrate a clever incorporation of modern materials within the historic fabric of the building.

ETP were appointed as Quantity Surveyors to work with Harrison Design Company on the extension of the existing Departure Lounge to provide a new bar and additional seating areas.

Following the successful completion of this project in 2008, London City Airport appointed the same Design Team to refurbish the original Departure Lounge areas.

This second phase of works is now on site, due for completion before Easter this year.

ETP were delighted to be appointed by Tampopo to act as Quantity Surveyors and CDM Co-ordinators on this project which recently opened in Bristol.

This is the fourth restaurant that ETP have completed for Tampopo – the other three being in Manchester.

ETP were appointed by Start Estates Ltd. to act as Quantity Surveyors on this high quality residential development in the heart of Wolverhampton.

The Shell Works are now complete and the Fit-Out works are now proceeding apace, with overall completion of the apartments, which will be available for rent, being expected in Spring 2009.

STRUCTURED TRAINING AGREEMENT

ETP's recently established Structured Training Agreement has been given full approval from the RICS.

This Agreement, between Employer and Employee, will ensure adequate training and support is given to all Employees embarking on the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to gain full membership of the RICS.

ETP have now received accreditation from SAFE Contractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK Contractors.

SAFE Contractor accreditation is expected to enhance the company's ability to attract new contracts and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively.
